“Make sure you get the punch flavor”

The Snackin’ Family was browsing our local Sugar Rush store, and surprisingly both kids decided to purchase Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix. Snackin’ Brother chose Knock-Out Punch while Snackin’ Sister picked Watermelon Blast. Immediately, they decided to have a taste test and see which flavor was best.

Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix in Watermelon Blast

Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix are gummy sticks covered in flavored sugar alongside a liquid sugar to dip them into. It all comes in a specially designed plastic container. You unwrap it and then open the top lid. Inside, the gummy sticks are arranged vertically around a cup of the liquid that has an extra seal on top of it.

The gummy sticks for both flavors of Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix were very sticky, and the liquid doesn’t really stick to them. To avoid drips, you have to move quickly from dipping to your mouth. Both Snackin’ Family kids agreed that the liquid disappears quickly after putting the sticks in your mouth, and then you’re just left with the gummy stick flavor. It doesn’t combine.

We all expected it to be a tough competition to determine the best flavor of Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix. Snackin’ Brother opened his first. The Knock-Out Punch flavor, he declared, is delicious.

The container of Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix contains three servings. Snackin’ Brother was told that he could eat half of his Knock-Out Punch gummies – so a bit more than one serving – and then he’d have to save the rest for later. The gummies are berry flavor, and the juice is punch flavor — or at least that’s what Snackin’ Brother believes. And it was delicious. It was hard for him to put it down after eating half, but he did.

The plastic packaging keeps it fresh and makes the Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix quite portable, even after opened. However, it’s single-use plastic, and it does seem a touch wasteful.

Later that day, Snackin’ Sister sampled her Watermelon Blast flavored Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix and proclaimed, “Wow, that’s sour!” Her face puckered up, and it was clear that the Watermelon Blast flavor was not sour in a desirable way — just sour in a sour way.

After testing the sticks on their own, the Snackin’ Family kids determined that most of the sweetness came from the sugar juice. The gummy sticks are not very sweet on their own

Snackin’ Sister and Snackin’ Brother each sampled the other’s Juicy Drop Gummy flavor, and they agreed that the Knock-Out Punch was the better flavor by far. In fact, Snackin’ Sister decided not to finish her Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix. (But don’t worry, Snackin’ Brother offered to finish them for her at another time.)

Snackin’ Sister said she’d never buy Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix again, but she was glad she tried them. Snackin’ Brother said he’d definitely get the Knock-Out Punch flavor of Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix again.

In case you’re wondering, neither of the Snackin’ Family parents sampled the Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N Stix. And, also, the Snackin Family kids brushed their teeth extra well after this taste test.
