Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis from General Mills

Cinnamon Toast Crunch has been a favorite breakfast and snack food for years in the Snackin’ Family house. We rarely try the innovative flavors introduced within the Cinnamon Toast Crunch family (like Dulce de Leche Toast Crunch), but we enjoy trying the new styles of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. So when we recently saw Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis in the grocery store, we decided to give it a shot.

Upon first glance, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis looks… boring. A bowl of homogenous brown balls felt just blah. But when we added some milk and put that bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis to the test, we were quite pleased.

Snackin’ Brother proclaimed that Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis are absolutely better than the big ones. He doesn’t like how the cinnamon sugar (or, more officially, the Cinnadust) comes off regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch when it sits in milk, and that doesn’t happen with the Minis. “These,” Snackin’ Brother said, “are just right.”

Snackin’ Brother is not usually much of a cereal eater, but the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis are now part of his regular breakfast rotation.

From a nutrition point of view, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis are packed with sugar… like many cereals enjoyed by children. Luckily, this sugar comes with a nice collection of vitamins and minerals. And unlike many kids cereals, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis do not include artificial colors or flavors.

Note: After looking at the Cinnamon Toast Crunch website, the Snackin’ Family realized there are many varieties of Cinnamon Toast Crunch we have yet to try. It’s worth the glance!
