White Cheddar Puff’d Cheez-Its
We were excited to try the new Puff’d Cheez-It cheesy baked snacks, which appear to be a cross between regular Cheez-It crackers and cheese puffs. While the white cheddar taste was good, the experience was disappointing.
For starters, the smell was not great and the feel was “chewy.” Snackin’ Sister said the Puff’d Cheez-Its taste like Cheetos, but with a “more cheesy aftertaste.” She also said that she prefers regular Cheez-It crackers to the Puff’d variety.
Snackin’ Brother claimed to prefer the Puff’d variety to regular Cheez-It crackers, which was surprising because Cheez-It crackers are one of his absolute favorite snacks. But, Snackin’ Brother only ate a few of the Puff’d crackers and didn’t return for more.
Overall, we’re glad we tried them and we expect to finish the 5.75 ounce bag. However, we do not anticipate purchasing any more Puff’d Cheez-It snacks.
