“The worst thing I’ve ever tasted”
When Snackin’ Mom bought Snyder’s of Hanover Cheddar Cheese-Filled Pretzel Sandwiches, she knew it was a risky move. The Snackin’ Family kids have never appreciated cheese-filled crackers or anything of the sort, and we’ve tried a variety.
But Snackin’ Mom bought the Snyder’s cheese-filled pretzel anyway, and she sent them to school with the Snackin’ Family kids without sharing any of her thoughts about them.
When the kids got home, Snackin’ Sister proclaimed, “They are the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my entire life.” While I’m sure she was exaggerating, Snackin’ Brother followed with, “They were yucky.”
Snackin’ Mom tried Snyder’s Cheddar Cheese-Filled Pretzel Sandwiches for the first time that afternoon… and she didn’t hate them. The pretzels taste like pretzels, and the cheese is reminiscent of the cheddar cheese inside Combos – both in flavor and color. In other words, it doesn’t taste quite like cheese, but it tastes familiar. Snyder’s also has a pizza flavor version of their filled pretzels, which probably taste quite like the Pizzeria Baked Pretzel Combos the Snackin’ Family reviewed last summer.
Snackin’ Mom ended up going repeatedly into the Snyder’s bag for more and more cheese-filled pretzels. While they weren’t delicious… they were hard to put down.
Our review below is reflective of the kids’ score for fun, taste, feel and smell. Snackin’ Mom would score them much higher, and she will definitely finish the bag.
